OCALAS SAD NEWS: Marion County deputies arrest 18-year-old for sexually abusing a young boy..

SUMMERFIELD, Fla. (WCJB) – Marion County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an 18-year-old after a boy’s mother reportedly caught him sexually battering her son.

Deiner Monzon Chilel, 18, was booked into the Marion County Jail on Monday on charges of sexual battery on a child under the age of 12. No bond has been set as of this report.

According to the arrest report, the mother noticed her son and Monzon Chilel left the dinner table early last Thursday. When she checked on them, she found her son bent over and Monzon Chilel standing behind him with his pants down.

The child told investigators that Monzon Chilel had sexually abused him on multiple occasions.

Detectives say Monzon Chilel immigrated to the U.S. from Guatemala in 2022. They were unable to locate any government identification numbers for him. Homeland Security investigators were also unable to locate records for him.

In addition to being held on the charges out of Marion County, Monzon Chilel is being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer.
