Unioto gets top seed in Southeast District baseball tournament. Here’s the schedule

Unioto received the No. 1 seed in the Division IV Southeast District tournament. The seeds were released on May 11.

They will await the winner of No. 9 McClain and No. 8 Vinton County, who play at 5 p.m. May 19. The winner will travel to Unioto at 5 p.m. on May 22.

In Division IV, there are 10 schools: Fairfield Union, Gallia Academy, Logan Elm, McClain, New Lexington, Unioto, Vinton County, Washington (WCH), Waverly and Westfall.

Westfall is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Gallia Academy at 5 p.m. May 22.

Waverly received the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 New Lexington at 5 p.m. May 22.

In Division III, there are nine schools: Athens, Chillicothe, Circleville, Hillsboro, Jackson, Marietta, Miami Trace, Sheridan, and Warren.

Chillicothe is the No. 7 seed and will travel to face No. 6 Warren at 5 p.m. May 21. The winner will go on to face No. 1 Jackson at 2 p.m. May 27 at Ohio University.

In Division V, there are 20 schools: Alexander, Dawson Bryant, Fairland, Ironton, Lynchburg-Clay, Meigs, Minford, Nelsonville-York, Northwest, Oak Hill, Piketon, Portsmouth, Portsmouth West, River Valley, Rock Hill, South Point, Valley, Wellston, Wheelersburg, and Zane Trace.

Zane Trace earned the No. 3 seed and will face the winner of No. 16 Rock Hill/No. 10 Minford at 2 p.m. May 28, at Logan High School.

Piketon is the No. 13 seed, and will travel to face No. 12 Meigs at 5 p.m. May 20.

In Division VI, there are 14 schools: Adena, Belpre, Chesapeake, Eastern (Beaver), Eastern (Reedsville), Eastern (Winchester), Huntington, Manchester, North Adams, Peebles, Ripley, Southeastern, Symmes Valley and Waterford.

Huntington is the No. 4 seed and will host No. 13 Chesapeake at 5 p.m. May 20.

Southeastern is the No. 7 seed and will host No. 10 North Adams at 5 p.m. May 20.

Adena is the No. 9 seed and will travel to face No. 8 Belpre at 5 p.m. May 20.

In Division VII, there are 16 schools: Clay (Portsmouth), Fairfield, Federal Hocking, Glenwood, Green, Miller, Notre Dame, Paint Valley, Sciotoville East, South Gallia, South Webster, Southern, St. Joe (Ironton), Trimble, Western (Latham), and Whiteoak

Paint Valley is the No. 10 seed and will travel to face No. 7 Trimble at 5 p.m. May 22.
